This is painful to admit...
We have had a mouse.
Yeah...disgusting.
We live in really old apartments. Remember how I said we live in "Little Mexico"? Well, we do. And we love it. But sometimes things can get a little scary around here. Like when winter starts coming, and all of the little critters think its cool to just burrow themselves right in to your warm home. Nope. No way. Not happening.
It all started about a week ago when one morning we went in to the kitchen only to notice that half of our baseboard had been chewed/scratched through right by the dishwasher. EW!
From that moment on I only wore boots around the house.
Even if I was in my unmentionables and I was going to the kitchen, I would throw on a pair of boots. You can imagine how nerdy that looked.
So, Mr. Murphy bought some mouse traps and all I could think about was that cute movie where the mouse gave the guys a lot of trouble but then in the end they were just all friends. Why couldn't we do that. "Hey mouse, lets just be friends, ok? You are probably really cute and have babies, so lets just not mess this up. Go away a live a happy little mouse life."
Then last weekend we came home from being at my parent's overnight only to find that my bag of Hawaiian Sweet Rolls had been eaten through.
Oh no you didn't. That mouse is going DOWN! You mess with my food, you mess with me!
So, I made Mr. Murphy set the traps that night and I have been living in suspense ever since. It has been awful. Every morning I go to the kitchen full of anxiety for the fear of seeing a squirming half dead mousey in my kitchen. Every morning has been the same...

ooo, i want breakfast.
no mouse.
Until today...
The trap was flipped upside-down. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO!!! Mr. Murphy left for class at 7:30 so I called him and told him to come back home and save me! I am living in suspense until 9:45.
